The International Conference on Ships & Maritime Research – NAV is the most important Italian forum for scientific and technical maritime community, organized every three years by ATENA – Associazione Italiana di Tecnica Navale.
The 19th Conference (NAV 2018) was held in Trieste from June 20th until June 22nd 2018 and for the first time the conference was combined with an activity programme for students and citizens, with the aim to spread out the importance of getting young students and citizens in touch with maritime topics.
From February 2018 until June 2018 were organized, by the Maritime Technology Cluster FVG, an activity programme called Navigando, structured into 23 conferences hosted in the city center of Trieste and three educational path, designed for students from age 7 until 19, in order to inspire and get them close to maritime professions.
