“Vessel design perspectives: solar boats and ships designed to exceed expectations ” will present the activities of two international affiliated companies of the cluster: GloMarine and iCat.

iCat company develops innovative, energy efficient and environmentally-friendly projects  in the maritime sector, applying technologically advanced and economically efficient solutions.
The company has been set-up in 2011 and in 2018 started the production in Zagreb (Croatia).  In 2019 iCat delivered three electrical solar vessels for the National park of Mljet (Croatia).
Their “iCat Technology” has been awarded and their “solarCat” vessel was finished and  presented in 2020.

GLO Marine is a project-oriented organization that puts emphasis on efficiency, quality and control. Provides a comprehensive range of services: design, engineering and project management to the maritime and oil & gas industries.  GLO Marine offers smart and customized solutions that cover the full engineering and design  cycles for all types of marine and offshore vessels.
