The event “Future Skills in Shipbuilding: Presentation of the Training Catalogue and Implementation Strategies of the CHAlleNGE 4S Project” will be held on 3 December 2024, from 9:30 to 13:00, at the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, Rue de la Loi 24, and streamed online. This event provides an important opportunity to share the results achieved by CHAlleNGE 4S, a project coordinated by mareFVG and funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Program.
The project implements the European Pact for Skills in Shipbuilding and Maritime Technology, involving 8 partners from 4 European countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Finland) with the aim of addressing the challenges associated with the triple transition – digital, environmental, and social – currently faced by companies in the sector. The Training Catalogue, which includes 12 prototype courses, has already seen its first applications in courses delivered across the four countries, covering all thematic areas: Green, Digital, Technical, and Transversal.
This meeting is aimed at both national and international stakeholders in the maritime and training sectors and will take place in a hybrid format, thus allowing participation both in person and online. We invite you to actively contribute to the discussion and to help shape the future of maritime professions.
