Workshop “Creativity and visual perception exercises”

6 maggio 2022 | 9:00 - 12:00 | University Nova Gorica

The workshop is organized as part of the AMI / Art for Maritime Innovation project, in co-production between the Maritime Technology Cluster FVG and the IoDeposito Association. It will be held by the artists Alice Mestriner and Ahad Moslemi.

The workshop’s goal is building a new perspective on the concepts of problem and error, by presenting them as the first elements for a good idea. They are the fracture and the break with repetition, shape and uniformity but at the same time a writing error generates the identity of the page. A problem, therefore, implies a relation between elements and subjects.
The word “problem” in Greek means ” to put forward, to propose ”, in Latin ” proposed question ” and in Persian ” something that has acquired a form ”.

The workshop is divided into two parts, the first one more discursive and introductory will explain the topic and propose the path of exchange with the other in order to enrich, problematize and complete a project. Examples and references will be shown.
The workshop will continue with some practical and collective exercises that highlight the importance of the co-creation relationship within both artistic and business projects.
